The Best Beaches in Brazil

After hours of research, we have concluded and compiled the best beaches in Brazil, so enjoy this article and we hope you have a wonderful vacation.

Alter do Chao, Pará

Located in the Amazon rain forest, this beach in our opinion is the best beach in Brazil hands down. Most people think has the best beach because of its popularity, but the truth is, Alter do Chao is the best beach. Crystal clear waters, absolute peace and tranquility, this place is a paradise.

Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro

This is our second best beach in Brazil, and also recognized by most locals as such. Even though it is a popular beach, it has certain spots you can go and relax by yourself or with very few people. But if you like to people watch while enjoying some delicious food from all the restaurants close by then you can’t go wrong with Ipenema beach.

Fernando de Noronha

Fernando is a small volcanic island with three of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and we are proud and honored to have it in our top 10 best beaches in Brazil list. My favorite is Praia do Sancho, which is perfect for swimming and has calm waves.

Praia do Rosa, Santa Catarina

This place is a surfers paradise, so if you love surfing, then come here. It had strong waves and nice sand for those who want to watch people catch the waves. And the water is crystal clear so you can see gold fish.

Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro

Even though its not the most beautiful beach in Brazil, it certainly the most popular beach in Brazil and one of the most popular beaches in the world. At any point during the day, it gets very, very crowded unless you go super early. If you own an apartment here, you are blessed because it is very beautiful.

Caraiva, Bahia

Caraiva is a very popular beach in Brazil and attracts more locals than tourists so it has that authentic Brazilian vibe compared to other beaches with foreigners. If you want to enjoy long morning walks or just take in the beautiful sunsets while having a chat with the locals, come here.

Lopes Mendes, Ilha Grande

The mountain in the background with its palm trees makes this beach the perfect destination for photographers, and those who own drones. Here you will take excellent pictures of the beach and mountains. It is a peaceful and quiet beach.

Galés, Maragogi Beach, Costa dos Corais

If you are into scuba diving, snorkeling, and other water related activities, then we recommend this beach. It also has something most beaches do not have; cool looking natural pools.

Lagoinha do Leste, Florianópolis, Santa Catarina

The Island of Florianópolis has over 40 beaches with Praia Mole being the most visited beach of the all. Praia is a young beach, so it is mostly clean and has beautiful white sand, surrounded by beautiful Brazilian mountains. Another beach worth mentioning is Lagoinha do Leste, a very nice and quiet beach gets almost no visitors – perfect meditation.

Porto de Galinhas, Ipojuca, Pernambuco

This place can only be reached by boat and is constantly ranked in the top 10 by many magazines locally and internationally as of the best beaches in Brazil. Its main draw is the beautiful turquoise crystal clear waters. If you need more articles on the top 10 best beaches in the world, then write to us and let us know.
